I cannot express the importance of using Honeyville Blanched Almond Flour in baking recipes. When baking the recipes WILL NOT come out the same using Bob’s Red Mill brand. Bob’s Redmill is not ground fine enough and will make the finished product come out chunky [for lack of better word].
I will tell you that they come out tasting okay, but the appearance is undesirable for both cookies and breads. You don’t have to take my word for it, or the advise of Elana Amsterdam [I didn’t at first] and you can experiment with other flours, but I guarantee you will bend and buy Honeyville Blanched Almond Flour if you intend on doing any kind of baking.
